Sound familiar?

Traditional strainer assemblies have always been a headache. You either pay a contractor thousands, or you wrestle timber, cement and a two-man crew for a full day - and still end up with something that rots in 5 years.

  • Timber corners rot out in 5 years - sometimes less in wet areas
  • Treated pine is toxic to stock. Handling it isn't great for you either.
  • Conventional assemblies need two people, cement, and often heavy machinery
  • Contractor labour adds up fast across a property - hundreds of dollars per assembly
  • Fire wipes out timber assemblies - you come back to nothing standing

What it actually means on your property

Real benefits. Not marketing copy.

🕐

Back on the tractor by lunch

Install a full strainer assembly solo in under 30 minutes. What used to take two people and a full day now fits between breakfast and smoko.

🔒

No more rotting corners

Galvanised steel doesn't rot. No fungal treatment, no splinters, no replacing the corner post every 5-7 years. Install once. Move on.

🔄

Take it with you

Sell the property? Pull out the starpickets and take the whole assembly with you. You're taking real value off the fence line.

🔥

Fire-rated - stays standing

When a fire comes through, timber assemblies go first. FenceStay has no timber to burn. You come back to your fence still standing.

Works on slopes

Step-slope variants handle hilly country that makes conventional assemblies a genuine nightmare. Fence the steep paddocks you've been putting off.

🐄

Safe around stock

No toxic treated pine. No chemicals leaching into the soil near water or grazing areas. Clean steel - safe for the animals, safe for you.

How it works

Three steps. One person. Under 30 minutes.

1

Drive in your starpickets

Use a standard post driver. No post holes, no auger, no cement. Position and drive - that's it. One person can do this.

2

Clip on the FenceStay assembly

The patented steel box end slides straight over your starpickets and locks in place. No bolts, no welding, no fiddling around.

3

Tension, tie off, done

Run your wire, tension it up, tie off. The assembly takes the load the same as any conventional strainer. You're done. Go do something else.

Who FenceStay is NOT for

We'd rather be upfront than waste your time.

  • - If you need permanent cemented-in posts for high-tension stock containment of large animals in confined spaces - conventional is still the standard.
  • - If you're building in ground conditions that won't hold a starpicket (solid rock, flood-prone creek beds) - speak to us first.
  • - If you prefer traditional methods and aren't open to a new system - FenceStay will feel like a waste of time, and that's fair.

Not sure? Ask us directly - we'll tell you honestly if it's the right fit.

What FenceStay customers say

Real reviews from real Australian properties.

★★★★★

"The FS3000 makes a seriously strong end assembly, even in sloping terrain. Over-engineered in a good way - with over a metre of steel post in the ground, it's not going anywhere!"

Adam

★★★★★

"Replaced over 100m of fence and a couple of gates. The ease of installation got the whole job done in very little time, including two vehicle gate accesses. Strong, straight, and the team's advice saved us money."

Michael

★★★★★

"Such a simple and cost-effective product. It's made putting up semi-permanent fencing on our property so much easier. Sturdy and easy to install."

Jennifer

★★★★★

"Used FenceStay to section off part of my farm. Really easy product and good service. Highly recommend!"

Common questions

Yes. FenceStay is engineered to deliver equivalent strength to conventional strainer assemblies and handles the same line tension loads. Want the detail on how it stacks up? Ask us - we're happy to walk you through it.
Standard starpickets - the ones you already buy from your local rural supplier. No special size or grade required for most applications. The kit details specify the post size needed for each product.
Yes. FenceStay includes step-slope variants specifically designed for hilly and uneven country. If you're fencing on a slope and conventional assemblies have been a pain, this is exactly what they were designed for.
If you can drive a starpicket, you can install FenceStay. The design is intentionally simple - clip on, tension up. If you get stuck, call us. We're a small Australian manufacturer and we actually answer the phone.
Pull out the starpickets and the whole assembly comes with you. There's no cement to break up, no hole to fill, no timber to dispose of. It's genuinely portable - which means it holds its value if you sell up or want to repurpose it.
